Have fun learning Python programming! This course is intended for the first-time coders and it will help students develop passion for computer programming. Students will learn fundamentals of Python programming through drawing colorful graphics and creating fun animations and playable games. Students must bring a laptop to the class, preferably a Windows PC, though a Mac will be fine.

About the Instructor
Dr. Xianjin Yang is a scientist in a world-class research institution for last 9 years. He also spent 8 years in a small technology company as Chief Scientist and scientific programmer on the development of commercial scientific modeling software. He writes Python, Matlab and C++ codes for numerical modeling, signal processing and scientific data analysis.  He has been teaching Python Programming at San Ramon Valley Chinese School since Fall 2017.
