Class Description

在通过8年的中文学习后,学生们大多数在Daily School已经进入高中的学习阶段,他们的中文学习也到了一个可以收获的季节。这门课程将主要针对 AP中文考试要求对学生进行听说读写的强化训练外加电脑模拟测试,做好充分应试的准备。j教学基于Theme将学生们学习的内容进行梳理,系统化中文所学,从而为他们未来应用中文打下更加坚实的基础。

什么是AP中文课程?中文及中华文化AP,简称AP中文,AP中文课程是一门外语课程,它允许中学生选修,课程设计为两年,通过考试的考生可以获得大学学分,或能选修中文高级课程,或两者兼得。换言之,通过AP考试,成绩合格者,进入大学后可从第五个学期的中文课选读。

AP中文课程五大学习目标是什么?就是全美中小学教师协会CLASS颁布教学目标与评量标准﹕『Goals and Standards for K-12 Chinese Language Learning』,也就是所谓『全美中小学中文学习目标大纲』,即『5-C Goals & 11 Standard』。
(一)Communication 信息交流:Communicate in Chinese1. 语言沟通Interpersonal Communication:学生以交谈方式,询问或提供讯息、交换意见、表达感情Students engage in conversations,provide and obtain information,express feelings and emotions,and exchange Opinions.2.理解诠释Interpretive Communication:学生明白和领会不同题材的书写(文字或拼音)与口语的表述Students understand and interpret written (in characters and/or phonetic transcription)and Spoken language on a variety of topics.3.表达演示Presentational Communication:学生能将不同主题的信息、想法及理念,充分表达给听众或读者Students present information,concepts,and ideas to an audience of listeners or readers on a variety of topics.
(二)Cultures 文化认知:Gain knowledge and understanding of the Chinese Culture1. 习俗了解Practices of Culture:学生能表达对华人社会习俗的了解与认识,并且在环境中能应对得体Students demonstrate an understanding of social patterns and the practice of conventions,and interact appropriately in Chinese Culture Setting.2.文化传承Products of Culture:学生能表达对中国文化,诸如习俗、艺术、历史、文学、音乐等的知识和了解Students demonstrate knowledge and understanding of significant of components of the Chinese culture,such as traditions,art,history,literature,music.
(三)Connection 融会贯通:Connect with other disciplines and acquire information1. 触类旁通Making Connection:由于学习中文,而加强或扩展其它学科的知识领域Students reinforce and further their knowledge of other disciplines thru the study of Chinese.2. 增广见闻Acquiring New Information:学生能得到唯有学中文才能获得的特殊观点与体认Students acquire information and recognize the distinctive viewpoints that are only available through the Chinese language and culture.
(四)Comparisons 多元比较:Develop insight into the nature of language &culture1. 语言特质Language Comparisons:学生比较中文与其母语,而促进对语言本质的了解Students demonstrate understanding of the nature of language through comparisons of the Chinese language and their own.2. 文化特质Culture Comparison:学生比较中国文化与其本国文化,而达成对文化本质的了解Students demonstrate understanding of the concept of culture through comparisons of the Chinese culture and their own.
(五)Communities 社区实用1. 学以致用Language Beyond School 学生可以在校内或校外运用中文Students use the Chinese language both within and beyond the school setting.2. 学无止境Life-1ong Learning 学生将中华语言文化溶入日常生活,充实生活增进乐趣Students show evidence of becoming life-1ong learners by using the knowledge of the Chinese language and culture for personal enjoyment and enrichment.
