Class Description
Badminton is a racquet played by either two opposing players (singles) or two opposing pairs (doubles), who take positions on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net. It is a fun sport for people of all ages. Playing badminton can improve cardiorespiratory fitness, improve sense of well-being, improve mood and self esteem. It is also a great way to lose weight by burning up calories. The badminton club is an self-managed open gym program. The school provides indoor badminton courts and nets. Players need to bring racquet and shuttlecocks to play.
Note: Gym will not be available on January & February.
